Our founding Chairman was recently interviewed by PinPoint’s Asia for a career series, sharing insights from his 30+ years in innovation and technology.

Time flies: from relational databases to generative AI, from a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science to a Doctor of Business Administration, from Silicon Valley to the Greater Bay, from consultant to Managing Director, from Cyberport to Venture Chairman, from student to professor, and from data practitioner to Founding Chairman of the Data Literacy Association. What’s next for me?

Over the past 30 years, he has experienced his share of ups and downs. Reflecting back, each moment has been a life lesson. It’s okay to hit bumps in the road; they enrich our journey as long as we learn from them and embrace them. I hope my experiences will inspire some of you.
