We are thrilled to share that DaLa’s 1st Data Seminar on 20 June was a resounding success. We had the pleasure of bringing together nearly 100 like-minded leaders from across industries to share insights and experiences in driving operation excellence and sustainability through data. The energy in the room was palpable, and we were truly impressed by the level of engagement and enthusiasm.
The 1st panel, moderated by our Founding Chairman Dr. Toa Charm and joined by Mr. Andrew Lau from Colliers, Ms. Julie Wong from Hysan Development and Mr. Max Chan from Adobe, focused on how we could leverage data to empower sustainability. We discussed the challenges and opportunities, best practices and key trends shaping the sustainability landscape.
Our 2nd panel, moderated by our Founding Fellow Mr. Ravel Lai and joined by Mr. Alvin Cheung from AWS, Mr. Michael Wong from HairCoSys and Mr. Kelvin Wong from Sensetek, focused on the practical solutions for achieving operation excellence as well as sustainability. Starting with managing data silos to improve data quality, we shared tips and experiences on how “data makes perfect” across small businesses to enterprises.
Last but not least, we are thrilled to have Mr. Chris Au Young from Airport Authority as our key speaker for the featured session. He led a thought-provoking session on how data fuelled the transformation of HK International Airport from City Airport to Smart Airport City. An array of innovative initiatives enhances both passengers’ end-to-end experience as well as the airport’s operation efficiency.
We were delighted to see the strong level of momentum brought from the stage to the floor. Most participants joined us in the networking drinks to continue the dialogues and exchanges. It was heartening to see new connections that were made and the enthusiasm that continued to flow among us.
