It is an initiative that focuses on nurturing secondary and post-secondary (Higher Diploma) students with technical and soft skills to address the needs of the future workforce\, particularly in the information technology and creative media industry. Our current program includes two Applied Learning Courses Tech Basics and Multimedia Storytelling for S4-S6 students\, forming part of the HKDSE curriculum. Launched in 2020\, it adopted a tripartite partnership among Hong Kong Baptist University\, industry partners\, and secondary schools. \nCareer Mentorship Program  \nThe program incorporates a career and life development segment\, featuring a career mentorship program. Since 2020\, we have had the privilege of welcoming 30+ industry partners from the business sector and 170+ career mentors to mentor 1\,000+ students coming from 90+ secondary schools in Hong Kong.

Dr. Charm will be sharing in the afternoon session on “Technology\, Innovation & Infrastructure” at 4:10 PM. \nMore about this event: \nDate: 18 November 2023 (Sat) (Day 1 Forum)\nTime: 9:00 AM-5:45 PM\nVenue: HKIA Premises\, 19/F\, One Hysan Avenue\, Causeway Bay \nThe development of the Northern Metropolis is a significant opportunity for Hong Kong to become a sustainable city\, considering its unique historical and ecological context. Following the success of the NM 1.0 Forum and Workshop in June 2023\, HKIA is organizing NM 2.0 on November 18 and 25\, 2023. The November 18 morning session will feature presentations by government representatives\, Mainland organizations\, and specialists\, providing insights into the latest official planning for the Northern Metropolis. In the afternoon\, stakeholders in the conservation and I&T sectors will present their visions for the future city. On November 25\, the morning session will focus on possibilities for the Northern Metropolis and successful overseas case studies of sustainable developments.
